The Intent of this blog is to deliver common sense arguments to defend my admitted libertarian bias.  Everyone has a bias, but the ones who can defend their bias with arguments reason, logic, evidence are the ones whose ideas should be adopted.

What are rights?  What about liberty?  How do we know when rights and liberty are being threatened or protected?  This blog will educate you on these topics, as schools nowadays, at least in my experience growing up as a millennial, are derelict in their duties to do so.

I may not be an expert, or have an advanced degree, in many of the subjects I cover, but that doesn’t invalidate the arguments presented in my posts.  In fact, because of that, I offer a fresh and unique perspective that offers a potentially new way to think about these subjects.

I welcome all comments, but prefer only constructive ones or ones that maturely explain why any arguments or theses presented in my posts are wrong or inaccurate.  This is a learning experience for me too, so please feel free to send your thoughts to me, as I’m doing to you as one of my wonderful readers.

While I wish for the majority of people to learn the principles of liberty, reject socialism and anything else that grants further coercive, and thereby illegitimate, power to the government, I don’t expect that too happen. I feel that this generation of humanity, during the lifespan of this author and blog, are most likely too far gone and corrupted by derelict academia, media, and politicians to learn the errors of our ways, the reductions, and soon to be eradications, of liberty.

As such, the primary hope of this author is that the next generation, who will have to live with the failure of this generation to preserve liberty and reject socialism, will learn to fix the failures of this generation. It is the civic duty of all to fight for liberty so that current generations and posterity can also live in a civilization forged and stabilized by liberty. Sadly, I believe posterity will not live in a civilization forged by liberty, and will have to live under an extreme form of socialist tyranny, which posterity doesn’t deserve. Posterity won’t get much of what it deserves from this generation, but at the very least, they deserve to know why this generation failed to preserve liberty, and what posterity will need to learn and do in order to have a chance of restoring a civilization, a republic, forged and stabilized by liberty.

As Thomas Jefferson said “Every generation will have to fight for liberty”. It is my hope that this blog will provide the educational and informational resources to aid the current and next generations to win the fight for liberty.
