Response to Reddit Question to Moon Landing Deniers

Today this Reddit article was also published on blacklistednews.com, a recommended source on the Liberty Forecast Blog. Titled Moon Hoaxers and Flat Earthers, ensemble! What do you think of the upcoming Moon shot?, the post simply republishes NASA’s announcement of its Artemis 2 mission, an attempt to go to the moon. The Reddit post also shares a photo of the four astronauts that will conduct the mission.

So, as a self-proclaimed public intellectual, philosopher, and critical thinker, I will give my response; and to those who are that anxious, yes I will also address the Flat Earth aspect of the question(spoiler alert, I am NOT someone who believes the Earth is flat, as will be elaborated later on in this post). First though, to set context, it is imperative to peruse my full position, explaining all the various reasons why I believe the alleged moon landings had to have been faked; you can read it here.

With the context set, here are the big questions upon which the successful round-trip journey for the Artemis 2 are contingent. These same questions very much apply to the previous moon landings, which are used to support my belief that those moon landing missions were fraudulent.

  • How does the Artemis 2 Mission plan to traverse the dangerous and highly radioactive Van Allen Belts, which cover thousands of miles in space? NASA, long after the allegedly successful Apollo Moon landings, says it has to figure out how to traverse the Van Allen Belts in order to make the mission successful.
  • How will Artemis 2 astronauts take BELIEVABLE photos and videos while on the moon? This was part of the problem with the alleged Apollo Moon landings; the photos could not have been taken on the moon, as attested by professional photographers(although they don’t go as far as claiming the moon landing was faked). Again, refer back to my original and extensive post on the forged moon landing here.

It will be interesting to see if the Artemis 2 Mission can answer those two main questions. Recently, China has stated its plans to go to the moon, and I’ve written my position about it here.

Now I’ll tackle the point about the Flat Earthers. First of all, I am NOT a believer that the Earth is flat. This is very easily proven by the fact that when you look out into the horizon on the ocean and see a ship far out into the horizon, you initially only see the top of the ship’s mast. Then, as the ship moves closer, you can see more of the mast, then the body of the ship, and then finally the hull, at which point you can see the whole ship. This phenomenon happens because of the curvature of the Earth; if the Earth was flat, then you’d see the whole ship immediately, even all the far out on the horizon, rather than gradually as you actually do.

On that note, it is quite frankly very irresponsible and downright wrong to assume that those who believe that the moon landings were faked, like myself, also must believe that the Earth is flat. How are the two even connected? Yet, somehow lots of people, even the smart ones with a high IQ, automatically and mindlessly associated those who believe the moon landings were fraudulent with those who believe the Earth is flat. This is irresponsible, wrong, and not at all constructive, so it therefore needs to stop.
