Tim Ballard’s Accusations – Why They Matter Beyond Sound of Freedom

In July 2023, former Department of Homeland Security agent Tim Ballard and his associates with organization Operation Underground Railroad(OUR) released the movie Sound of Freedom, a critically acclaimed movie that shed much warranted public light on the rampant criminal sex-trafficking of children that goes on internationally to this day, as of the time of this writing. The movie not only details Ballard’s attempt to both rescue a child in Colombia who was sold into sex slavery and reunite with her with her parents, but that to this day, as of the time of this writing, also accurately points out that the number of children sold into sexual slavery dwarfs the number of slaves in all of recorded history. Sound of Freedom is listed on this blog’s page as one of the few efforts in today’s western civilization countering the cultural, moral and ethical decay consuming the entire western world today and bringing it to its demise. I have now become obligated to add this post on that page to shed the unflattering truth about Tim Ballard, as will be further detailed in the rest of this blog post. Despite the sensational work by Ballard and OUR in producing and distributing Sound of Freedom, valid accusations of Ballard’s misconduct have come into the public domain, which have very negative and tarnishing ramifications not just for Ballard personally or even for the movie Sound of Freedom, but above all, the increasingly uphill battle to abolish child sex trafficking.

I encourage everyone to see the Sound of Freedom as part of doing your own individual research. That said, multiple women have come forward publicly to expose Ballard’s inappropriate and unethical sexual harassment, misconduct, and manipulation towards them. These women were trained to act as Ballard’s phony wife as part of what Ballard and his team called “The Couple’s Ruse”, a gambit to fool the perpetrators of the child sex trafficking activities into granting Ballard and his fake mistress access into the inner business dealings of child sex trafficking to get first-hand exposure of the criminal activities and get closer to the child victims, in order to ultimately save them. Ballard would then make these women share a bed and shower with him, manipulating the women into believing that it was the only way that the villains involved in the sex trafficking, who Ballard was trying to fool, would believe they were truly couples. This is beyond inexcusable and unacceptable; Ballard’s means most certainly don’t justify the noble ends. Joel Skousen, in the November 24, 2023 edition of his World Affairs Brief, gives an excellent commentary and insight on why the women accusing Ballard are believable – see Skousen’s commentary below(headline in bold, content in italics): why it matters and the forecast of this post will follow Skousen’s quoted commentary.

REVISITING THE TIM BALLARD ACCUSATIONS

Last week I took the position that Tim Ballard was innocent of the charges by six women of sexual abuse relative to Operation Underground Railway (OUR)—saving children from sex trafficking. I had received a briefing from people connected to OUR about the problems of pedophilia and how it is protected by people in high places and especially the mainstream media—which is true—and their conclusion that these attacks on Ballard are simply the pedophiles in high places trying to protect themselves and tarnish their nemesis.

Added to that true, but incomplete briefing, I observed the sudden one-sided onslaught against Tim Ballard and OUR by the media, which seemed suspicious to me and fits the all-too-common pattern of a witch-hunt against someone trying to do what is right. Until recently I wasn’t able to hear the other side of the story because Ballard’s accusers had decided for many months to remain anonymous.

But they are no longer anonymous, and I wish they had come out sooner, so that those of us trying to sort out the truth could make an informed decision based upon conscience and the inner feelings one gets as we see and hear real people testify about what happened to them.

The five accusers have finally come out publicly as recorded in this Youtube video. I find 4 out of 5 of the women totally believable. They aren’t lying. One of them is a professional therapist who seems too broadly antagonistic toward Ballard, and is a bit too controlled to get a good read on. The others appear to be actual victims. So, I apologize to readers for taking too early of a position on this subject without having the full picture. I no longer believe Ballard is innocent.

The only thing I don’t agree with is the opinion put forth by a few of them, based upon their negative experience with Ballard, that the operation to save children from sex trafficking was a total fraud. I don’t think it was, but rather a leader who took advantage of the dark sexual milieu they all had to work in, in order to manipulate and compromise his fellow female workers. Others, like former law enforcement officer Eric Moutsos, also doubted until hearing from the women themselves. He has talked first hand with all the victims and to Ballard himself.

According to court documents, Ballard would convince women that they had to play as if they were married, or at least a “couple” in order to gain access to these trafficking people and places. It was called the “couples ruse” but now it appears to been taken to an excess level by Ballard with inappropriate requests and contact with the women in private and a range of manipulation of the women to keep them silent or confused.

This is unfortunate, because I think OUR has done more to bring to light the cause of child trafficking than any other organization, and will taint the runaway success of the movie “Sound of Freedom.” When this goes to trial, I don’t think OUR is going to survive their attempts to suppress and discourage these whistleblowers, and may end up paying out millions in damages and compensation. That will hurt this privately-funded cause working to save children from trafficking, leaving evil people (including within the US federal government) to continue their awful work facilitating the trafficking of illegal children, as I’ve covered in past briefings.

Why does this matter?

Mainly, Ballard’s inexcusable misconduct towards women, if indeed proven to be true or if not discredited by credible counter-evidence, undermines the perceived credibility of Sound of Freedom’s message and call to action with the public. Sadly the majority, if not the vast majority of the public, is likely to perceive and believe Sound of Freedom to be fraud, a classic case of guilt by association and hypocrisy by Ballard. After all, how could a man who sexually manipulated and exploited women himself credibly claim to passionately be for abolishing child sex trafficking? While I do believe the successful efforts by Ballard and OUR to save children from sex slavery were honest and laudable, while simultaneously acknowledging Ballard’s sins, sadly the public at large isn’t likely to distinguish the falsehood of Ballard’s immaculate personal reputation put out by OUR and Ballard’s defenders from the truth of Ballard and OUR’s honest and legitimate mission to end child sex trafficking, which is rampant in today’s severely and increasingly morally and ethically corrupt world.

Even before Sound of Freedom, the battle to get people to care more about child sex trafficking and to get people, especially elected leaders, to take action to end the horrific crime has been extremely difficult. With the credible accusations against Ballard, that battle has become more uphill, jeopardizing the efforts and objectives of OUR and Sound of Freedom.

It therefore becomes imperative for we the people to distinguish the truth of the immense global child sex trafficking and the sincere efforts, like Ballard’s, to end it, from proclaimed leaders like Ballard who are not worthy of leading the effort against such crimes. We the people must disavow Ballard as a leader for this movement, as his avoidable and inexcusable sexual misconduct has likely done too much damage to the cause and purpose of Sound of Freedom for Ballard to be considered a worthy leader. Especially if Eric Moutsos is telling the truth about how Ballard and his defenders criticize those rightfully chastising Ballard by calling them defenders of child sex trafficking, that would indeed show the depths of Ballard’s manipulative actions, again disqualifying him as a either leader for this movement to end child sex trafficking or an overall ethical and moral man, generally speaking. Such actions are very much like how major Democrat politicians call those who disagree with them racist with no evidence or basis.

We the people must not excuse such actions by Ballard, and not be afraid to be unreasonably and incorrectly called defenders of sex trafficking just because we refuse to refrain from chastising Ballard’s sins and hypocrisy, if indeed proven true or at least not falsified. Furthermore, Ballard and OUR haven’t shown the slightest remorse or sincere repentance for their awful sins against those women. Shame on Tim Ballard and OUR for jeopardizing the public credibility of Sound of Freedom‘s message and call to action.

As such the forecast of this blog is that public awareness and concern to take further significant action against child sex trafficking will be diminished, probably to a severe degree, by Ballard’s newly revealed and validated hypocrisy and sexual misconduct.

I pray that my forecast ends up being dead wrong, hopefully everyone else does too.

With all this said, Ballard’s severe ethical corruption as a leader for a virtuous movement is an allegory for why civilization might not deserve liberty, because the leaders that people chose to follow to advance the cause of liberty and expose major crimes against liberty and fundamental rights are deeply ethically and morally corrupt.

Donald Trump is one such leader. Despite his few righteous instincts on topics like energy policy, to which the American people got to experience near historic low gas prices and live in an net energy exporting nation, free market deregulation and low taxes, along with exposing and trying to fix the severe crisis at the U.S southern border, Trump is a very immoral and unethical man, and therefore, not the right leader to lead a movement to restore liberty. Trump himself doesn’t understand what liberty is, nor can he likely define what fundamental rights are, lacking solid core principles and the ability to eloquently articulate any such principles. As such, Trump is not a qualified leader. Sadly, many of his ardent supporters and followers, those who claim to be in the MAGA(Trump’s abbreviated slogan Make America Great Again) crowd, sadly look past his inexcusable immorality, the excessive unfair media and illegitimate lawsuits against him notwithstanding. Despite fighting an extremely hostile, biased, unreasonable and irredeemably corrupt Deep State and media, Trump failed in his mission to defeat the Deep State, Drain the Swamp as he had mentioned, and/or restore long-lasting liberty to the United States.

You can also look at guys like James O’Keefe, who’s personal moral misconduct sabotaged the great works, and ultimately, his former organization, Project Veritas, which like OUR, did great work in credibly exposing major criminal conspiratorial activity, only to get sabotaged by the inner turmoil and misconduct by leadership. Then there are people like Simone Gold, founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, an advocacy fighting back against illegal COVID-19 policies and mandates, who used donation money for improper personal expenses. You also have German attorney Reimer Fuellmich, who billed over 39,000 euros for his legal services, to never delivered on his numerous threats to sue the criminals, such as elected officials, who violated the Constitution, both federally and on state levels, by imposing powers beyond the limits in the constitution to violate fundamental rights.

Perhaps even some of the most impactful leaders in history, like George Washington, couldn’t achieve greater success in forging a new country based on a democratic republican system, rather than a unilateral monarchy, because of his own ethical and moral misconduct. Unlike later leaders, Washington had greater blessings and protections from The Lord to grant him greater success. Arguably his battle against tyranny in his time wasn’t as tough as the battle against today’s tyrannical government forces trying to destroy liberty. Hard to say for sure, but a civilization where liberty prevails and fundamental rights are protected under absolutely all circumstances requires an honest and ethical people. As such, successful movements, like OUR’s movement to end child sex trafficking, to undo tyranny and establish a liberty-prevailing civilizations require honest and ethical leaders. Sadly, Tim Ballard is not one of them.
