Novak Djokovic, the top tennis player for many years and record nine-time winner of the Australian Open Grand Slam tennis tournament, was initially granted a medical exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine(actually gene therapy shot) and allowed to enter Australia to compete in the tournament. However, upon arrival, the Australian government dishonored their duty to respect his exemption and engaged in major chicanery. Australia, despite being one of the freest and most prosperous countries in the world IN THE PAST, has now deteriorated into a totalitarian dictatorship, wrongly justified by the policies to counter the COVID-19 virus; Australia today is hardly distinguishable from North Korea, with no resulting gain in or promotion of public health. Djokovic was then held captive at a hotel soon after landing in Australia, and will most likely be deported from the country and banned from the tournament. The Australian Open deserves everyone’s boycott. Interestingly, during the trophy presentation of the 2021 Australian Open, when the keynote speakers promoted the COVID-19 vaccine, many in the audience righteously booed, making their disapproval of the COVID-19 vaccine very clear. As Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison decreed, “no special rules for Djokovic”, although Morrison conjured up new special rules out of nowhere to suddenly reject Djokovic’s visa and medical exemption. Morrison also stated “My view is that any individual seeking to enter Australia must comply with our border requirements”; of course Morrison can arbitrarily change these border requirements, in total violation of the Rule of Law. So, why have an exemption process at all if the government is going to say, “we have the arbitrary right to intervene and make you prove the process all over without knowing the criteria?” Djokovic is a national hero in Serbia which has no vaccine mandates. Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said Serbia “will fight for Novak Djokovic, for justice and truth”.
Why this deeply matters is that Djokovic is the closest thing to a hero that today’s civilization has to stand up to this COVID dictatorship that has plagued all of humanity for nearly two years as of the time of this writing. Especially for a high-profile, wealthy, and powerful individual like Djokovic to stand up to this COVID dictatorship, civilization desperately needs but sadly lacks these kinds of heroic individuals to bolster the chances of seeing an end to the COVID dictatorship. People like Djokovic, tennis player Renata Voracova, Green Bay Packers Quarterback & 2010 Super Bowl Champion Aaron Rodgers, and NBA star Kyrie Irving, are among the few high-profile, wealthy, and powerful individuals standing up to the COVID dictatorship. Most importantly, they stand up for their principles and push back against the COVID dictatorship even after sustaining unjust reprisals – something that only the truly brave, tough, and heroic individuals of civilization could do. Sadly, among the high-profile, wealthy, and powerful individuals in civilization, people like Djokovic, Rodgers, Voracova, and Irving are the minority, as over 90% of all professional athletes, and top executive politicians, like state governors and heads of state, buy into the COVID non-sense dictatorship. This needs to change in order to boost the chances for civilization to completely abolish the COVID dictatorship. Among the entire fraction of civilization that opposes the COVID dictatorship and calls it out for the nonsense that it is, most of them are not high-profile, wealthy, and powerful individuals.
Arguably the only time in all of history that enough people advocating and fighting for liberty made up a high-profile, wealthy, and powerful segment of civilization was during the American Revolution. In that time, people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin were wealthy as well as powerful, and had the ethical compass to promote liberty. Even in such auspicious circumstances, the U.S. Constitution, even with some of its major flaws, barely, almost miraculously, got ratified. This further demonstrates how hard it will be for civilization today to achieve and win back liberty against the COVID dictatorship which it faces today.
The forecast for this blog is that, very unfortunately, the vast majority of high-profile, wealthy, and powerful individuals in civilization WILL NOT learn from Djokovic’s example to do the righteous thing, push back against the COVID dictatorship non-sense. This will therefore make it unlikely that civilization will see the abolition of the COVID dictatorship any time soon, if ever, mainly because far too few people push back strongly enough against it. To those among the high-profile, wealthy, and powerful in our civilization, from athletes to celebrities to of course elected officials, that either promote the COVID dictatorship or stay neutral and silent, shame on you; follow the examples set by Djokovic, Voracova, Rodgers, and Irving to get your heads out of your rear-ends and robustly advocate for the end to all this COVID dictatorship, once and for all. Enough has been enough, and actually way too much.
