Rule of Law Defined

No, The Rule of Law does not mean The Law, or what is legal. For the law, please go here for a more elaborate explanation. Rather, The Rule of Law means a consistent, objective application of the WRITTEN law, so that nobody is exempt from the enforcement of the written law, unless otherwise enumerated, meaning written. The principle of The Rule of Law establishes that everyone is subject to the publicly disclosed and enumerated, code of laws, including, and especially so, lawmakers, law enforcement officials, law enforcement executives, and court judges too.

The Rule of Law is so critical that it distinguishes civilizations ruled justly and by representative enumerated rights, from other civilizations which lack The Rule of Law i.e. dictatorships, and oligarchs. Without the Rule of Law, corruption prevails, and liberty doesn’t. Another inevitable consequence resulting from the absence of The Rule of Law is the total collapse of civilization, regardless of long it takes for the inevitable collapse to materialize. Every civilization in the world in today’s times, including the United States, allegedly the best civilization to every exist, has deviated from The Rule of Law, which is a big factor pushing every civilization in today’s times in the same direction as the ancient Roman and Greek civilizations – total collapse.

For a long time, the United States was considered to be one of the shining examples of a civilization where the Rule of Law prevails, and whereby corruption is punished. This is in contrast to other civilizations, such as Brazil, Saudi Arabia, & India, as well as hardcore socialist/communist regimes like Cuba, Venezuela, China, North Korea and Russia. Socialism, a destructive ideology which is steadily growing in popularity at the time of this writing, is the antithesis of the Rule of Law.

To be fair and accurate, even in the United States, the Rule of Law hasn’t actually prevailed for a long time. If it did, Hillary Clinton would not have been allowed to get away with the grand felony of having a private email server while serving as Secretary of State under then-president Barack Obama. Had a lower-profile individual committed any such treasonous negligence, he/she would be going to jail, perhaps permanently, and rightfully so. Additionally, in this current era of the draconian, unconstitutional, illegitimate, unwarranted and ineffective COVID-19 restrictions on refusing to wear a mask, getting physically close to others, and operating physical retail commercial enterprises, the Rule of Law still doesn’t apply. Some of the most draconian and tyrannical state governors, such as Gavin Newsom of California, Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, and Andrew Cuomo have violated their own restrictive orders on their states’ residents; PJ Media documents the hypocrisies here. If today’s civilizations continue to reject The Rule of Law, then they too fill find themselves in the same ultimate destination that the formerly robust ancient Greek and Roman civilizations arrived at, total destruction and ruin.

Many posts on this blog will pertain to the instances where the Rule of Law fails to prevail. Sadly, I forecast that there will be many of them.
