Unanswered Questions to Protestors(and Rioters)

What SPECIFIC demands do you have? Who is your leadership?

For a week now, protests about the death of George Floyd during his arrest in Minneapolis, MN have been the rallying cry for the protestors across nearly every big city in America. While a good portion of these protests have been peaceful and in accordance with law and the First Amendment to PEACABLY assemble, too much unlawful and unconstitutional violence has been inflicted by the protestors.

Buildings have been burned, thereby violating the property rights of those owners, many of whom are blacks who own(or I guess owned at this point, thanks to the “benevolent” protestors) those businesses and struggle mightily to make ends meet, and for what; justice in the name of George Floyd?! Furthermore, too many of these protestors have actually been rioters and have actually killed innocent people, even African-Americans, such as the following:

David Dorn, retired St. Louis Police Officer

Furthermore, John Nolte reports on the following 3 black victims by murderous rioters.

Chris Beaty, a 38-year-old man, was shot and killed by rioters in the Democrat-run city of Indianapolis, Indiana.

David McAtee, a 53-year old man, was shot and killed in the Democrat-run city of Louisville, Kentucky.

Italia Marie Kelly, a 22-year-old woman, was killed instantly by a stray bullet just as she was leaving a protest in the Democrat-run city of Davenport, Iowa.

Again, is any of this justified or enhancing justice to George Floyd, or anybody??!! Do ALL Black Lives Matter??!! Apparently not to the rioters, and shame on them, and everyone supporting them, most especially the mainstream media that is enabling them by parroting the narrative that these protests are advancing justice for blacks, or anybody else. Black Lives Matter is very clearly a scam, except instead of getting ripped off, you get murdered!! It is especially appalling that Chris Cuomo actually has the audacity to ask “Please, show me where it says protestors have to be polite?” Gosh, I guess if they don’t give respect and politeness to others, they have no reason to expect or deserve it in return.

With the media forcing people’s attention to these protestors(rioters and looters), it is imperative to know what they specifically want. Although it took a week to find out one demand, defunding the police, which is way too long, I Google’d what the specific demands are, and found the following:

CNN

The Atlantic

Oprah Mag

NY Times

Now, I could’ve investigated further, but the point is, it shouldn’t be this hard to find specific demands by these protestors, again given how active and disruptive to normal live they’ve been for a week and counting for God knows how much longer. Just to get one legitimately specific demand, defunding the police, took way too much effort. That being recognized though, let’s analyze whether that demand should be met.

First of all, yes, police are way overpaid, as many are corrupt, abusive, and murderous. In fact, anyone in uniform with a gun, such as TSA and soldiers, is to be feared, not glorified. Police brutality exists, and this is despite the heavy taxes imposed on the people. Despite paying such gargantuan taxes, the police and government fail in their duty to protect people’s rights to life and property – this kind of failure is replete in government even in America and should come as no surprise whatsoever. However, defunding the police, while it may remove the current monstrosity of the police department today, will be replaced with a violent abusive mob that arguably has less respect for human life and fundamental liberties. Especially as most people in most big cities are disarmed by gun control, again thanks to reliable government failure and incompetence, immediately defunding and doing away with police would endanger the innocent, those who want normalcy, peace, order, and liberty, none of which these protestors have even feigned to care about or desire. Tucker Carlson did an excellent job explaining why defunding the police in these current circumstances is an absolutely horrible and autistic idea.

On a small side note, these episodes of protests over this past week remind me of The Dark Knight Rises movie, whereby the villain Bane stifled the entire Gotham City police department, effectively making himself and his henchmen the mob that become the new authority, effectively the new police. There is no way that one can rationally argue that Bane’s rule was any bit more benevolent than life in Gotham City under the police. However, unlike the rioters and protestors in real life, Bane actually had specific demands, though they were obviously quite atrocious, to put it lightly. Furthermore, unlike the movie, in the real world there is no Batman to save the people from those endangering liberty, like these protestors and rioters are doing. There isn’t even a Commissioner Jim Gordon, Detective Robin John Blake, or even a Selina Kyle, a character with a good heart but very little to no principles. Makes me wonder and profoundly troubled to ask who will save America from the chaos brought about by these protests.

What would be far, far better for the protestors to demand is the end of the income tax, on all levels, federal, state, and local. After all, by eliminating the income tax, a major funding avenue for police, as well as other abusive, wasteful, and unnecessary government programs. Plus, eliminating the income tax enhances liberty, which desperately needs to be accelerated even in America, the world’s supposedly best and only free remaining country. The Income Tax is also legalized theft that stifles productivity and advancements in the standard of living of people, keeping them in poverty and/or away from greater wealth. Furthermore, for most of America’s history, the income tax was not law, and the United States still had the industrial revolution and advanced, proving that the income tax is actually not necessary at all, contrary to popular belief. Will the protestors become wise and noble enough to advocate for abolishing the income tax to enhance justice? I’m hopeful, but not holding my breath for even a nanosecond.

You can refer to this post of mine for a deeper dive on the evils of taxation, and the consequent need to abolish it.

The other big question about these protests is, who or what is their leadership? Where is the George Washington of this group? If there was one, they’d be more disciplined and principled so as to refrain from looting. They also would have specific demands and grievances aside from a flimsy defunding of the police departments. Where is the Martin Luther King Jr. of this so-called peace-promoting mob? What would he think of all the violence committed by these protesters? There isn’t even a Malcom X, who although was wicked and violent in his efforts and advocacies, was a legitimate, clear, and well-defined leader, which is lacking in these George Floyd protests. So, who is the leadership of these protests? That question remains to be answered. If it ever does get answered, the likelihood of such an event happening is even less than that of my dog learning to speak Danish fluently.
